ROFLMAO

For those who don't know, ROFLMAO means "rolling on the floor laughing my a** off".

Are you wondering why?

Check this out:

Dodd Proposes Giving The Fed the Task of Consumer Protection.

Yes, Christopher Dodd (Democrat Connecticut), Chairman of The Senate Banking Committee wants the Federal Reserve to protect consumers from "abusive and deceptive financial products".

Uh, Senator Dodd, have you looked at the currency issued by the Federal Reserve lately?

I love this part from the article, "Mr. Dodd countered with a proposal to expand the mandate for the Fed, which has traditionally focused on monetary policy, by establishing a consumer division within the central bank with power to write and enforce rules."

AH-HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Oh yeah, in case you were wondering, this is the same Christopher Dodd who received sweetheart deals from Countrywide Financial. The fees, points, and rules applied to more common people were waived for Dodd and many other prominent people.

Yes, that is the same Countrywide we, the taxpayer, bailed out.
