I'm going to toss my hat into the ring.
How many of you are fans of Zombie films and TV shows like
Resident Evil,
28 Days Later,
The Crazies, and
The Walking Dead? Have you read
World War Z? Even a respected technical site, Wired, published an article on "
How To Survive A Zombie Apocalypse".
Have you considered the implications of the explosion in popular culture of this
meme?
Consider a classic film such as "
Night Of The Living Dead", and compare it with the modern form of zombie films. Do you notice a distinct difference?
Perhaps it is a subtle form of conditioning. Propaganda. Or if you gamble, a "
tell".
What if the agent, the "
Rage Virus" of 28 Days Later, or the toxin in The Crazies is real?
I'm going to digress a moment. You're all familiar with the
F-117A Stealth Fighter? The project began in 1975. The world learned about it in 1988.
Oxcart began in 1957. The project wasn't declassified until 2007. Secrets can be kept. Black projects funded and deployed. How many others have come and gone, and still may be here for all we know?
Now consider this:
You remember the "
super flu" that was made in the lab?
How fast it can travel if it gets loose?
Did you know that there may very well be a "Rage Virus"? See this National Geographic Article:

Well, Rabies. Meet Super-flu. Super-flu, meet Rabies. I'm sure you'll have beautiful children.
What if Boston isn't a testing ground for the biological sensors. What if the sensors are to track how well the biological spreads within a well defined and confined area? No disinfecting sunlight here to mitigate the spread of a contagion. No air filters. Spray at low traffic periods, and note its persistence in the environment.
You can't tell me the health officials in the area won't be tracking
symptoms and illnesses that are associated with Bacillus Subtilis, the organism they plan on releasing.
B. Subtlis was discovered, apparently, by the Nazis. Isn't that convenient.
The Powers That Be have made no secret
they want to rid the world of the vast majority of its population.
Planning. It is all planning.
