My husband practiced with me and I was easily able to disarm and follow through.
I am over 50, about 15 pounds overweight (which means 20 but I'm not admitting it) and out of shape.
These motions were very easy to do, and follow through on.

My parents never allowed me to study martial arts that can be used in an offensive manner. I was stuck with learning Judo and Aikido.
Guess that's why I like guns so much. If there's a problem, hopefully I won't even have to get close enough to get dirty.
