Let's Have A Nuclear War!

Small Nuclear War Could Reverse Global Warming for Years

What. The. F---.?

This is a bizarre article. Even for the once vaunted National Geographic, which has been reduced to a "groupthink" collective and a shameless propaganda outlet, this is absolutely over the top.

In my reading of the article, and maybe it is just me, I sensed a certain duality.

On one hand, Global Warming "bad". On the other hand, reversing Global Warming "good".

On one hand "Nuclear Winter" bad. On the other hand "Nuclear Fall" (less severe climate modification as a result of regional, limited, small nuclear exchanges) " not so bad.

Mass starvation "bad". Limited starvation "good".

It seemed to me that the author, through the choice of words - including the provocative title, is putting forth the idea that a limited nuclear exchange might, in the long term, be a good idea.

I just have to wonder exactly who is being influenced by these types of articles. Are these coded messages to certain people in the loop?

Just so strange given that the screwballs in North Korea and Iran don't seem to be going away, and insist on spoiling the average person's idea of a good time.

North Korea threatens to attack South Korea, US

Good ol' Dear Leader Kim is threatening use of nukes. Again.

Signs of serious trouble at Iran's nuclear reactor

Uh-huh.

Iran fully prepared, monitoring threats

Of course, we present "no threat to neighboring countries". Wanna buy a bridge?

Iraq PM sets 100 day deadline for gov after protests

Shape up or ship out. 100 days will give the connected cronies to loot whatever is left and go live on the French Riviera for the rest of their days. I wonder if they'll create a club for deposed despots? Maybe something like Club Med, with torture chambers.

Iran can have whatever is left. I'm sure that's what Iran means by "monitoring threats". I'm sure they don't want a bunch of angry illegal aliens, excuse me - "refugees", flooding across their border.

How About Adding a North Korea Crisis to the Mix?

Read the above article and you might spend the night tossing and turning wondering exactly how FUBARed our "Intelligence Services" are, not to mention people occupying key posts and even the Oval Office.

Demonstrations in Saudi Arabia have started, as well as bombings of key oil installations in the region.

There's even rumors going around that Obama may stick his foot into another mess.

Is Barack Obama About To Order The U.S. Military To Invade Libya?

Of course not. Why would he want to open the doors to a bunch of angry illegal aliens, excuse me - "refugees" who don't like our way of life. Why flood our country with even more economically displaced people? Nothing like building a block of voters when your poll numbers keep sinking.

I need a drink. I'm too cynical for my own good.

With all the nuts that are in charge, there is no telling what the PTB are going to do!

You would think that even our "leaders" are not eve slightly thinking of starting another involvement, but you never know!

I'm sorry I always thought a nuclear winter would be bad. Is this winning the future or a CYA ploy. Hell I don't think Reagan would have thought or this. It's not that we are nuking your country. We are just concerned about the enviroment? WTF

Nuclear Winter is still a dubious proposition for anything other than a very large nuclear war. They clearly are being very selective in their assessments.

In any case it would cool of the globe AND make it very difficult to grow any crops. The massive die-off would probably (eventually) do more to slow up global warming.
