The Programming Continues

Sometimes I just want to beat my head against the concrete in front of my home. You just have to read this headline:

Mexico arrests Zetas member accused of piracy

OH MY!

Is he running around shouting "Avast!" and "YARRRRRR!!" in Spanish?

Does anyone know how to say "Avast!" and "YARRRRRR!" in Spanish?

If you read the article.....he's accused of stealing music. A guy affiliated with one of the most violent drug cartels in Mexico, affiliated with beheadings, government corruption, murder, mayhem and drug trafficking is being accused of being a MUSIC PIRATE!

And charges are being filed associated with attacks in which grenades were used.

Uh.... Shouldn't it be he was arrested for the attacks using grenades, and then have the music piracy tacked on?

Or has somehow the corporate machine managed to place its interests and profits above the lives of the common citizen? I heard that....stop snickering!

Or is someone trying to get people to believe that piracy is more a threat to civilization than a group of rather violent, but well dressed, businessmen?

Well, there you have it, folks. No one can take down the drug cartels. Not several governments and their militaries. Not bounties and contract killers. But by God, if you **ck with the RIAA and Lady Gaga, all hell is going to rain down on you.

I need a drink.

Is it too early?
