Just Desserts

Maybe its wrong of me to get a certain amount of joy from seeing the rich and famous get smacked upside the head by the dregs of society. However these days, its kind of difficult to tell the difference between the rich and famous and the dregs of society.

Just ask Rhianna. Chris Brown, what a man. You can take the boy out of the 'hood, but you can't take the hood(lum) out of the boy. Well, lets all give him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he was practicing for when Sharia Law is instituted.

Maybe it is un-Christian of me to revel in seeing these souls tormented by those who often serve as a plague to people of more modest means.

Maybe its just flat out wrong regardless if one is governed by a religious code, or by a personal moral code.

Well, shame on me. It's still funny.

You all remember back in October when a pair of loan agents were kidnapped and beaten by their clients? The clients were pretty upset that they were going to lose their home after the agents allegedly took off with the cash but did nothing else.

Well now, Daniel Sadek, founder Quick Loan Funding, has been the victim of a home invasion. Quick Loan Funding produced an estimated $4 Billion in subprime loans and collapsed in 2007.

Sadek made the list of "100 To Blame", a Vanity Fair series that outed the people, products, and institutions most culpable for the current collapse in the world economy.

I missed this series when it originally appeared in September of this year. Well, I didn't really miss it. It's not like I look at the magazine. Actually, this was the first time I've ever been to their website.

I've enjoyed reading through the article, and found it informative, entertaining, and curiously non-partisan.

Maybe an outraged American public will start using this article as an "enemies" list. After all, Obama has his.

Let's hope so.

I get a kick out of karma coming home to roost, too. Someone should publish the names, phone numbers and addresses of those real "criminal masterminds" that don't listen to the people?
