New Feature: File Of The Day

First, a thanks to Radio for his words of wisdom in response to my post from yesterday. I appreciate his sage words.

I need to get back on track and stop being distracted by the insanity that fills everything from newspapers to television news. I can't stop what is going on, and all of us are sure to see the loss of our treasured American way of life. Radio is correct, this is going to be painful. The best all of us can do is to nurture the memories of the America we knew and use them as seed for the future. We'll plant when the ground is fertile again, and we will see what we all love spring into bloom once again.

Hopefully this time, the future generations will not allow the weeds to overtake our garden of Liberty.

So, getting back on track, I'm starting a new feature I'm calling "File Of The Day". I've been busy collecting everything I can on improvised weaponry. I've collected military manuals, and texts on guerilla warfare and a heck of a lot more.

On the right side of the page, at the top, you will see this new feature, along with the download link.

Most of this stuff is hosted on anonymous servers all around the world. I will be putting up a link each day to a file. If it is something that interests you, download it and build up your library.

Today's selection is called, "LAW and Disorder: Rearming the 66mm Light Anti-tank Weapon". The expended tubes from LAWs rockets can be found everywhere from gun shows to military surplus stores. It is a versatile and extremely useful piece of ordnance.

There is something that must be said here. I am not advocating that anyone engage in actually following the instructions contained in this document. The link and the material are provided for educational and entertainment purposes only. You are responsible for obeying all applicable laws for your area of residence.

A friend of mine was just diagnosed with MS, it looks like a lifetime of reoccurring "events" his wife is understandably upset but he is taking it well. While driving he told me that he has every intention of taking this as he should - it is true, unpleasant, and there is nothing he can do about it - but prepare.

In his case he is trying a third series clinical trial of an experimental drug.

I all of our cases we should think about trying the same attitude - accept the fate, and prepare for the fall - it is all a matter of time...

If anything the recent popularity of Ron Paul and the youth should give you hope - we may well have the "greatest generation" behind us waiting to step up...

All we can really do is accept and prepare.
At least we're awake. It would really suck to see a tidal wave coming down upon you, but at least if you see it coming soon enough you can get to higher ground.

It is definitely an emotional thing to come to terms with the end of our greed driven party, but we will pull though it.
It won't be easy, but,
In the journey I think we will discover parts of ourselves that have been missing for a long time.

Hey Cygnus, a different kind of "prep", eh?

Bullseye, wait until you see some of the other stuff that'll be making an appearance.

Radio, I'm very sorry to hear of your friend's situation. I will pray the experimental treatment works. I read somewhere that artificial sweeteners have been associated with various autoimmune diseases. Perhaps you might want to discuss this with him, just in case he uses them.

Maitreya, not all of us were greedy, and it pains me that those of us who were, good, decent, honest, hard working people who played by the rules are being locked into the steerage compartments of a sinking ship. God help me, I intend to see that we are the only ones who survive what is coming.

I'm hoping that strong adversity makes for stronger character! I'm thinking that a little prayer now and then asking for strength is a good idea...certainly couldn't hurt, ya know?

Mr. Franklin, you'll notice that your site is in the recommended blog section to the right. When y'all over there find George Washington to lead us into battle, let me know.

Jim, our mettle is being tested, you surely have that right.
